Doctor who series 4 Review

I have to say while maybe Series 3 had more pleasant surprises series 4 was just how I remembered but yet somehow much better then I remembered. This was a very massive surprise and yet exactly what I expected. It's kind of hard to explain but perhaps I should start with some of the details.Series 4 to my knowledge had alot of rumors of david leaving at the end of the series and as such this series had alot of tension surrounding it in terms of what would happen. Not helping that catherine tate would return for a more permanent companion role and the mid season return of martha for three episodes and the beginning having rose come back for a brief moment.Suffice it to say this series had very high stakes and It feels like a big season.

So high stakes,A possible new doctor, and a bunch of returning companions. This has to be the best season yet right? Well not quite. You see while this season has a lot of great moments it lacks one thing.Consistancy.As we'll see this series has some damn funny moments and episodes but sandwiched between some of the most morose and forboding moments in the series so far. It's a bit jarring sometimes and is really the only thing that keeps this series down cause the rest is pretty golden. For the most part....

10th Doctor (David Tennant)

Most people consider The specials in 2009 part of series 4 however I don't and speaking strictly to that the tenth has a very depressing season. He seems beat right from the start after the events of series 3 and it just doesn't get easier.I heard steven moffat once describe the episode the eleventh hour as the worst day imaginable.Well series 4 has to be the worst month ever.To his credit david still maintains his acting as fantastic as always and he does a damn good job portraying the doctor as just being battered by feelings of just having his companions either basically die or have some of the worst times of their life. While all in all it was good for the doctor I only have two issues;A feeling of not much progress to his development and a very bitter ending that just leaves us feeling bad for him.

Donna Noble (Catherine tate)

Ah Donna.I gotta say this is kind of what I mean by inconsistant. Not her herself but compared to the very gloomy doctor this season she's just a ball of fun.I mean she has by far the funniest scene in doctor who history and you know the one I'm talking about I've used the gif like twenty times recently. She is very fun to watch in the funnier moments and the more serious moments are done very well by miss tate. All in all she's an excellent companion. She's an absolute wonder to watch and her story is one of the more staisfying and yet very bittersweet. It's something to watch for her alone.

And the rest

There is alot to cover here so I'll get started.Rose tyler still played by Billie (Hot) Piper has a bit of development but really it was more to give her character a happy ending which in fairness was pretty okay.Martha jones played by freema agyeman comes back and in both the sontaran two parter and the doctor's daughter And while maybe taking a bit away from donna it's nice to see her in her new job as a full fledged doctor. While little actual development happens for mickey and rose's mom sans mickey coming back to the normal dimension for some reason it's nice for them as well. As for the spinoff  members namely jack and sarah jane they're both fine and as far as I know they're good with they're brought in characters from the respective shows. It is kinda neat too to see everyone in the same situation but different places almost like they're still in their show but experiencing the events. But I'll save that for that part of the review

River song (alex kingston)

It's a much smaller part then she'll play in the seasons to come but I figure I'd mention it anyway. She's pretty good though there are some moments that are a touch off not so much her but her continuity but again I'll get to that again in a later part

And then it comes to the villain and in all honesty I have two for this one. There is one I really enjoy and another I....well I can talk about them alot.Starting off is The first of the two encountered in the season.....The sontarans.

Generally speaking I'm very half and half with these guys.On one side I like the idea of this very war monger style race that's also very honorable and oddly polite. On the other side they look like a smurf crossed with mr. potato head and I could never take them seriously.I know that's kind of the point is that they are underestimated and always win by sheer force and again I like the idea but.....look at him! It looks like he has a massive allergy to whatever he's wearing. In the season they are pretty good in fairness and the concept is great but.......I can't even say the design is bad just....silly to me.

.....As for the other one.....

Davros (Julian bleach)

Oh man. This guy is absolutly amazing.I love how creepy and just unsettling his theme is and man his speech where he just tears into the doctor. and I quote

"The man who abhors violence, never carrying a gun, but this is the truth, Doctor: you take ordinary people and you fashion them into weapons... behold your Children of Time, transformed into murderers. I made the Daleks, Doctor, you made this."

Need I really say more?

And that's when we get into the episodes. After the very melancholy end to the last season (The tenth walking around the tardis after the master's death.) they sent the titanic crashing into the tardis which led to one of the more split christmas episodes

Christmas special: Voyage of the damned

First off this is the first episode using a newish version of the opening and it is pretty awesome. It's alot more dynamic but on to the episode.Again more evil chirstmas robots but these are better then the previous versions but really that's not what's unique about this one.Number one the most obvious one being the fact that it's on the space titanic and that is admittedly unique and the other being that kylie minouge plays the temp companion and in honesty she's not bad.her and david have good chemistry and I almost want to see more of the two but she's a temp companion so her days are numbered.

In all honesty this is a very odd one in that I do like the story and while the characters are a bit one note they're not bad in terms of general like-ability but where it falls is things like the bizzarre villain who is admittedly kind of a decent chuckle but not much more.or the odd moment with the doctor being lifted by the angels in an incredibly silly moment that I think was supposed to be some kind of paralell and it's kind of weird.it's not a bad christmas special but compared to others it's one of the worse ones similar to daivd's first but a bit better if only cause david's in most of this one.Not bad but there is better.

also a small spoiler it doesn't end well and that does start a very morose trend with this series and while the climax benefits from it it makes the series a bit depressing at points not that you could tell from a few episodes like this first one for instance.

Episode 1: Partners in crime

For a season that can get really depressing at times this first episode is hilarious.I mean do I even need to bring up the gif I've been using. The scenes of the doctor and donna just bearly missing each other are pretty funny and my god when they meet the build up was for a very worthy cause.if it's not the funniest scene in the series it's very close. but other then that there's not much else to say. It's a definate enjoyable watch

And from there on the battle of whether this series would have a more happy or darker tone begins and lemme tell you darker seems to have won in the end

Don't get used to this image ladies and gentlemen there's maybe one more coming this season and then it hits the fan

Episode 2 Fires of pompei

Ah yes This is pretty decent.I honestly don't have that much to say about this one sans the end gets a bit bittersweet if positive all in all still using a bit of the sadder tone with it though.and the other thing well as I said I just recently found out that Karen Gillan was one of the prophets and that's still really cool.other then that though It's a pretty good episode no real complaints

Episode 3 Planet of the ood.

This one I always thought was kind of a sister episode to fires of pompei. The feeling and quality is about the same.Again no real complaints but again not much to say. It's kind of nice seeing the ood again but past that these last two episodes are good but just not much to else to say

Episodes 4 and 5 The sontaran strategem and the poison sky

This one's pretty good.I dig the overall story and it's very nice seeing martha again if only cause I'm a huge fan of her and her development into a medical officer of UNIT is genius. As I said I'm confused how to feel about sontarans but this it is done well showing their intelligence using human paranoia even if as the doctor said himself it was rather cowardly more or less. It's a pretty good two parter though. All in all I can't think of anything too majorly wrong so I give thimbs up.

And from this point on well lemme put it this way

Prepare for ALOT of this.

Episode 6 The Doctor's Daughter

Oh boy very quickly we all know this one is NOT going to end well.I won't say whether it does or not but jeez. It's nice having david in a more anti-violence tone for the first time in a while and hell both Jenny (The titular character) and martha back for round two do well and It's a damn good episode but this is really the start of the depressing streak. There is one or two issues namely the borderline red shirt state of Jenny (again I won't say what happens but it sure screams it at the beginning.) and a very massive confusing bit at the end that I'm sure you could explain with certain things but It just seems off as hell to me.Good episode just be prepared for a damn tense moment

Episode 7 The unicorn and the wasp

Okay we have one more laugh episode before the depressing barrier hits full on.This one is kind of silly but really It's a good silly.Lemme put it this way. Before the opening music plays we see a giant wasp beat someone to death with a lead pipe....Half of you probably just said that's awesome and the other half facepalmed.I think that says it all right there. It`s a fine episode just silly.....very silly.

Annnnnnnnnd we hit the wall. There are a couple of jokes here and there but from this point on each episode has a very dark or morose feel to it.It`s not a bad thing just be prepared and yes I know I went on about how depressing this gets for waaaaaay too long but It`s just a big thing for me.I like more upbeat stuff that takes a dark turn and then gets back from that to at least kind of happy.....That was a terrible job describing it but If you`ve played Persona 4 you know what I mean.

Episodes 8 and 9 Silence of the library and forest of the dead.

This one.....This one is something I`m very torn on.On one side It has the start of a very cool plotline with river song and some decent moments but on the other side it has some plot holes for those namely the fact that she asks if he`s done the crash of the byzantium yet.Uh that`s not eleven river.I know you could make the claim that she thought he was twelve but I don`t know I figure she`d know what the forms she`s met look like or for that matter after asking about the byzantium why did she continue asking she knew it was before 11.I know these questions should be directed more towards the episodes in series 5 and 6 but I can give the benefit of the doubt to them. This two parter also has a lot of silly moments that just break the tension.Suffice it to say

``Hey who turned out the lights``

Need I say more? But that being say there are some good moments especially in part two but It`s a toss up really.A friend of mine loves it so take that as you will.

Episode 10 Midnight

This is me about half way through the episode.....well my reaction I`m not actually a cat. This is one of the freakiest episodes in doctor who history with how insanely tense it gets and how freaky it is.Seriosuly maybe ten minutes in and you have one of,If not the best idea for a horror movie ever. The only reason God complex is scarier is because it`s alot more unnerving and uncomfortable. Now with midnight It`s tense and never stops being so.Seriously this one is amazing and one of the better episodes of the series easily. To give you an idea this was my favorite episode for a very long time.

Episode 11 Left turn

This is a very cool idea for an episode. What would happen if the doctor was not around for any of the stuff that happened? Evidently crap would start falling apart rather badly.Companions dying left and right people dying constantly and hell all of england was practically turned into a 3rd world country. It`s a very unsettling episode definatly continuing the trend of this half of the season.Really nice to see just how much one choice can make

Episode 12 and 13 The stolen earth and Journey`s end

One thing I have to say for the pre moffat era is my god are the finales OUTSTANDING.It`s just bearly below The sound of drums two parter.Davros is amazing in it really showing his genius.not trying to kill the timelord but demoralize him and make him see he hasn`t been helping people but building an army and it`s genius.Arguably moreso then the master when you think of it.The daleks are out in full force in this one and it`s pretty intimidating I mean between the fact that they`re just blowing everything they find up and their theme combined with Davros` theme (A Dark and endless Dalek night and Davros Respectivly) really make them seem like the greatest threat ever and hell they fatally wounded the doctor by the end of part 1.Why did I spoil that? Well....It`s the roughest part of the two parter. He Sends the regenration energy into his severed hand from seasons past and he gets healed without transforming.WHAT THE HELL?!

I`m sorry but that is one of the worst excuses for a cliffhanger I`ve ever heard. And yes I know that the hand turns into another doctor which does help out in the end but that`s just really stupid.I mean Russel T Davies had one of the best episodes this season in Midnight actually writing that gem and then he pulled that one off and it`s the only reason that this isn`t my favorite finale That I`ve seen. It`s just a very off point in a great two parter but it could be worse.I do love this one despite that.Mostly for davros and for the return of basically every companion since series 1.It`s just epic put simply.

Series 4 was a very interesting case.On one side it has great episodes when it gets serious and even then the average episode quality is still pretty good.On par with the average from the previous seasons if not maybe a little above. The problems are some sketchy episodes namely very missed horror attempts in Silence in the library,a massive wall of morose episodes at the end and one of the biggest off ideas of the entire series with the false regen. All in all It`s the most conflicted season of the revived so far.A good season just marred with alot of mistakes small or otherwise. It`s worth a watch even at it`s worst though cause it still provides entertainment for the most part. Not as good as say series 3 but better then series 1 by a hair. But of course there is kind of more to this series.

After this season aired there were a series of specials that aired as a replacement for next years series.I`m not certain why but I think it may have been from david`s desire to leave the series  and continue other things but I`m just guessing. Most people say that the specials are still part of series 4 but I don`t count it myself. I`ll do each on it`s own since they`re independant of each other more or less. But first off is the special the next doct......Wait what? I hope this isn`t another tease.

In Sane We Trust Doctor who:The Eternity Clock review

I've had a Heluva Week.I mean Real life has been tiring not bad just tiring and above that One week after Sonic 4.2 Eternity clock comes out I mean that's just not fair. But Of course I bought both and as I said I love 4.2 but this is causing one hell of a war in my brain. On one side as a doctor who fan I'm gushing like crazy but as a gamer.....it's.....I don't want to say bad but rough.Very rough.Maybe I should be more clear.

Eternity clock Follows the doctor and his wife/companion/love interest/person who annoys him,River song as they unravel the events behind a time storm that has been causing massive time changes even altering definate points in time allowing four of the greatest enemies in the series history to assume roles of power and invade earth in massive invasions. And that right there is one of the stronger points. As a fan it feel like the shit has really hit the fan....Not me the proverbial fan.....This joke is confused.Anyway It feels like this is big goings on and you feel like in terms of what your doing it's really saving alot of people.

You travel through four main time periods of england.Elizabethan,Victorian,Modern and future versions of the same places.and while that may not sound great it's actually not bad.The differences are actually alot better then you'd expect. You can tell it's the same places but different buildings on the same plots of land or different builds for the sewers. Also the enemies of the period have a massive effect. The Elizabethan getting of easy with having the very subtle and also very nice to see Silence. The silence aren't quite as violent as the rest only having sections where you have to keep an eye on a silent at all times through the platforming sections or else you forget why you're there and end up (Assumedly) getting killed. Those sections are pretty good all things considered and as for the actual platforming controls throughout the game.Simple and a bit finicky but it gets the job done. It's not by any means great controls but it feels good enough that you can get the job done with not many issues.Though once more I would like to emphasize especially with jumping the controls are nothing special.

The silence actually being more the third enemy in the game you face though Stages are very loose traveling around randomly through eras and you'll just face enemies of the era when the story gets to it.For instance you'll face Cybermen in the modern era before anything else but you'll see A silurian shadow in the Victorian era long before you've beaten the cybermen. The Victorian era does house the Silurian stages and Once again it is nice to see the silurians again this time led by A silurian general named Vekkis and really she's more just as a boss character. It would've been nice to see any actual background but It does the job I suppose. But speaking of the boss stage this is by far one of the rougher parts of the game.

Though I will give her this. Her plan was to pump Poison to the surface to wipe out humans slowly and painfully making her a bit of a sick puppy.Though again I may be looking for depth where there is none.Plus how could this face be a sick puppy?

First a minor continuity error when the doctor mentions the eternity clock before he learns of it but the boss fight itself is another story.the fight starts with the doctor safely solving a puzzle and the once solved it switches to river having to fend off Silurians with the sonic screwdriver.Lather rinse repeat 3 more times.First off I should mention the puzzles. They're good and do the job all in all but There is one that takes forever to solve and it just happens to be two of the four puzzles the doctor needs to solve. Now that in itslef is okay BUT the river sections are a bit tricky. You have to do a small minigame to deteonate the silurian guns and make them teleport away and enemies do not stop moving or attacking while you're doing puzzles making it so you have to be really quick on your sonic puzzle and while you will get used to it the length of the puzzles the doctor has to solve and the fact if you die you start at the beginning makes this one just unpleasant.

But That's the second part of the game that bugged the crap out of me.the first and fortunatly much less severe part that bugged me was A section with river trying to escape from a building being attacked by cybermen in one of the earlier-ish areas. The cybermen have invaded placing a massive cyberfactory in the middle of a city and have begun invading and apparently they've converted an insane amount of people. When the doctor heads back in time river is stuck keeping a time warp safe from cybermen and it's really slow.Like for the most part the game didn't annoy me except for two parts: the earlier silurian section and this one and my god this takes forever and god forbid you get caught cause then it's just insultingly slow. But besides that the cybership itself was actually pretty cool as well as adding an old cybermen construct known as the cyber planner.

I have to admit I love the design of this thing.Still being a mainframe but just looking cool.Plus it makes for a very nice leader which I always fel the cybermen never really had aside from lumic is series 2.I do really like all of the segments of fighting the enemies in their stronghold and no more apparent is it then here. While Like I said I hate the fight against Vekkis But it's still cool and it definatly applies here.I just really like the feel of the area and that's heavily thanks to the graphics. While nothing spectacular the graphics are very nice....In terms of scenery and backgrounds.Actual character models however are ht and miss. The Silence,Daleks,Silurians and the doctor himself look more or less great. However the cybermen as well as river and a few others look off.Not bad neccisarily but off.but as I said especially for a $20.00 Title but again it's not without it's ugly points.

But even after those two huge drop points in the first half the second half makes up for it being very uneventful in terms of  some of the more iffy fights. The Daleks once again showing how badass they are instead of trying poison or some slow conversion they just say "SCREW THIS! WIPE THE BITCHES OUT!!!!" and more or less cause armageddon.Again Love daleks.Anyway one thing that may drive some people completly insane is the dalekkian chants of EXTERMINATE and whatnot.Well I don't mind the voice myself but yeah I could see it getting old.but all in all the Voice acting is actually quite good though one thing bugs me.The cybermen sound kind of off.I mean silence sound great,Silurians are fine and daleks are dead on but cybermen are much deeper and it sounds okay just off.

I do love the daleks stages just because after finding three fragments of the eternity clock the last being held by daleks and after facing two bosses (A dalek Strategist and A dalek Supreme not to mention a crap tonne of drones) You get to the last area and the epicness is coming through perfectly. As you head to the top of the Dalek Flagship you know you're gonna fight an emperor. But I wasn't expecting the model they used.I won't spoil it but at the very least try to find it cause it looks awesome and it one of the coolest parts of the game.

Now there is one thing that I didn't mention and that's the games biggest flaw; The bugs and glitches. This game is Pretty unstable sometimes.Bugs,AI Hiccups and a crap tonne of random weirdness in general.I'm talking elevators going into floors and god only knows that the stupid AI bugs can cause some major issues. But All in all is it worth $20.00?

Well lemme put it this way I'm doing another run as we speak.I do think that it's worth it for a fan. It's a unique experience that Nowhere else can you get.It feels right as an experience with story and even some of the games just feels like appropriate choices but again with that come very iffy glitches and some annoying early game moments.Like I said It's a nice fan experience but just know the costs. And now I'm off to watch Doctor who.The review is coming I swear.

In sane we trust Sonic The hedgehog 4 Episode 2 Review

A few years ago when I was just starting to get back into sonic games from a prolonged break the announcement of Sonic the hedgehog 4 hit and people were very confused as to what to think.People heard the term Episode 1 and were even less sure what to think.personally I was happy but again I was
Just getting back into sonic games so It was lowish on the radar. The game itself was Upon release met with alot of "meh" reviews.Saying it was good but was also very different from the series earlier entries.Myself....Episode 1 was a good game but just very Rough.I liked the soundtrack but not Something I would put on an mp3 player.Though I will always defend the Eggman boss fight music.Yeah It's clownish but It works damn well for the man who built the egg dealer.A machine that kicked it's own ass.But I digress.....

Episode 1 was As I said good but not up to expectations and a promise of Episode 2 after the end credits involving Metal sonic (A fan favorite character) Got alot of people intrigued but very conflicted about episode 2.the very luke warm reception of episode one had people not exactly jumping at the idea of episode 2.That and the habit of episodic releases taking redicoulous amounts of time to release the next episode....isn't that right valve?

Seriously I haven't even played the games but this is borderline silly valve

But a few months ago The trailer was released after Sonic CD had it's PSN and Xbox live releases and then a month or two later a more detailed trailer showing off some of the levels and details.Namely the return of the greatest sidekick of all time and one of my favorite characters in sonic history Miles "Tails" Prower. And then two days ago The game was released and did it get better or just more of the same? Well first of all In terms of story...

Well It's a sonic story but for what it's worth metal sonic comes back and Eggman makes the Death Egg Mk2 It's not much to speak of And I'm tempted to put up my "It's Me" Donna Gif Since I have nothing else.Moving on.....

Soundtrack

While the soundtrack from episode one was merely okay this game's soundtrack is way more memorable and in a very good way.Sylvania castle act 3,White park act 2 and 1,All of the oil desert tracks and the insanly great metal sonic boss music to name a few are all great tracks and I'm rather impressed at just how good alot of it is.Now In fairness I did love mad gear act 1 from EP 1 to this level but Improved instruments to a decent extent do improve the quality and remove what people called the "Dying cat" Syndrome of EP 1.In case you don't know what that means go to youtube and look up Splash hill act 1 then look up the meow mix zone and you'll know what I meant. That's gone having a much more classic feel and once or twice I'll even say kind of a sonic spinball sound to it.

Seriously listen to The Eggman boss music from EP 2 and tell me you don't hear some of the tone from spinball.....or go listen to some of spinball's soundtrack for that matter.

I'll admit that Some of the tracks are a bit easy to see when they cycle since they are fairly short but I will say that They are alot catchier so all in all I do think the episode 2 soundtrack is better. Also as for The Eggman boss music It's okay.it's the Pinch music From episode 1 just reinstrumentalized. It works better but It's a crap shoot. On the other hand Metal sonic's music is amazing and one of the better tracks in sonic history and I will stand by that.Same with the generations metal sonic boss music but that's another story

Graphics

I'm gonna keep this simple This is a scene from Splash hill zone.

And here is a scene from sylvania castle zone

As you can see there's alot more depth to Episode 2 Speaking from a graphics standpoint.Everything just looks alot more....I wanna say real but that may sound silly considering It stars an anthropomorphic talking hedgehog. But really It does look more real.Just look at the clouds or some of the items in those shots. They just have more depth in Episode 2.Now admittedly It's not what I would call the best graphics but it's good suffice it to say.Better then ep 1 to say the least.

One thing I have to mention is the level Design in terms of they look.I think for the most part they all look great. Not as good as say the stages in generations but that makes sense since the file size for episode 2 is alot smaller then generations but it looks good.Maybe not amazing but it certainly does the job for what it set out to do.

Gameplay.

Ah And here's where things start getting conflicted.I myself really enjoyed alot of this game. The use of the homing attack in platforming like the turning platforms in Sylvania act three or the turtle badniks in Sky fortress act 1 feel alot more interesting then just using it to break boxes or hit springs. That aspect was massivly improved in my mind just because it fits the game style alot more and with the addition of tails for use in flight, water movement or the odd 69 of death.....I mean Spinning Combo make the game feel more complete then episode 1.That being said how is the gameplay aside from those two thing from episode 1 or even the classics? Well All in all level design is a bit better in episode 2 then 1.not much though. The Addition of tails and better use of the homing attack feels better and it is.But compared to the originals in terms of just overall design not so much.

Now I want to say something here.Yes this game is called Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and yes comparisons are inevitable but in my opinion you shouldn't over compare this to the originals.Yes this game is different and yes they did say it would play like the originals but Sonic 4 Is different from Sonic 3 like How Sonic adventure is from Sonic colors. It's Visually similar but the Feel is just different.I choose to think of it more as another creature all together.I'm Sure someone is gonna see this and think "Yes How dare I compare Sonic 4 to Sonic 3" I'm not saying that.If you want to compare 4 To the classics till you're blue in the face go ahead. But I just think of it as a different creature altogether and Because of that I really enjoyed episode 2.Now yes some of the bosses are long and drag for a while and the long flight sections in oil desert suck.....and while I'm at it the orbanaut looking flame enemies in oil desert can burn in hell and take the orbanauts with them for that matter.....Where was I?

Oh yeah the game is far from perfect but I just think that if you give it a shot and think of it as different from the classics You'll get quite a bit of enjoyment.....oh and one more thing Until you realzie what the special items in the special stages do you will be cursing them to high heaven.Seriously When you learn that the team icon makes it so that any rings that touch the cord between tails and sonic are collected as well you will kick yourself.....or not since I just told you.take advantage of that in special stage 7 or it will haunt your nightmares.......I think I need to go watch doctor who for a while.

Doctor who Challenge Days 27,28,29,and 30

Day 27 Favorite Interview

Uh......I got nothing.......I never really saw many Interviews so.......On we go

Day 28 Favorite Gif

Yeah Nuff said

Day 29 Favorite Guest star

Peter Davison

While I'm not an expert on the classics I do really like the 5th doctor. His Appearance,His funny yet more human behavior made him a very interesting contrast to the very odd 4th doctor.I really enjoy him and seeing him come back for the kids in need special with david tennant and I adore that special.Maybe though the term Guest isn't right cause this is more.....A comeback Even if temporary.

Day 30 How I started watching

I've mentioned this story before but why the hell not.About a year and a half ago I was flicking through channels and I came across The episode Love and monsters an Episode I do rather like sans the main villain but there was one reason I did keep watching and part of it was how cool the ep was in general. It was Rose.Billie piper had or maybe does still have a pop music career and when I was a kid rather embarrassingly I did really like pop music and the second I saw rose everything came back to me and I was very intrigued. That night another ep was on a few hours later. The ep fear her and while I'm not as big of a fan of that episode The cheesy and yet very interesting concept for a villain reminded me alot of shows I watched as a kid and I again was very hooked into it.And then came doomsday.

My first Episode with Cybermen and daleks. It took me weeks to figure out that It was daleks and not dalik or Ii think even darik at one point. But even after that I was still kind of half on and half off.....Until I saw The sound of drums and I was flung headlong into the series at full pace.I think a month later I got the series 3 dvd set maybe a month later for christmas and since then I've been a massive fan to the point where I realized how big this series is.It's amazing how hooked I got to this series and I think I may delve into something else for a while to give you all a break before the series 4 review.I swear I'm working on it by the way.

Doctor who challenge days 24,25,and 26

Day 24 Favorite quote

"We're all just stories in the end.Just make it a good one"

Another reason I love The eleventh is because I adore how deep he can get and this is pretty deep as well as a nice moment in the series.

Day 25 Favorite doctor catchphrase

Fantastic

While the way Eccleston said it kinda drove me nuts I did like how used yet not over used and how simple it is.I do really enjoy eccleston for that kind of thing in general for how he did his doctor. He was definatly the doctor in every way but still very different.I do love eccleston for that.

Day 26 Favorite gadget

Sonic Screwdriver

Ah THE Classic gadget. It unlocks door.....unless they're wood.It scans things it may even grate cheese....if you hit the cheese hard enough.

Day 21 Favorite Couple

Martha and Mickey

Because this actually happened. No really near the end of the end of time we see those two fighting a sontaran and they actually mention they are married....and by god It's Random .I don't even think these two have said a line to each other previous but hey I dig it.Plus I feel a bit better for mickey after losing rose off and on for bascially two seasons.Random but that's why I like it

Day 22 Favorite Friendship

The 10th and Donna Noble

God I love these two. While as a companion I do prefer Martha. The relationship between these two is just amazing.I mean these two are best friends is pretty obvious to see.You know what....just watch partners in crime.I think that'll speak for itself

Day 23 Favorite Spinoff

Uh......I never really heavily watched one of the spinoffs.....here's a gif I found about the above topic^^;;

Doctor who Challenge day 18,19,and 20

Day 18 Favorite Actress

Doesn't look familiar does it.I have no idea Who this is but upon watching the fires of pompei today for my review but she did an excellent job.Don't think she even had any lines but it was an excellent job nonetheless.Wonder what she looks like under the make up?

O.O

Uh.....Well crap.Very Nice Miss karen Gillan

Day 19 Least Favorite Actress

I'm stealing a joke here from the lady K but This is the look I had when trying to decide who to pick for this.I was gonna say the actress who played I think it was mother of mine from Human nature but I think I've kicked that episode more then enough.Plus She did an okay job.....yeah I got nothing

Day 20 Favorite Writer

Steven Moffat

I'm glad It doesn't say Best writer and not because I think he's a bad writer.I think Moffat's a great writer It's just that When it comes to writing It's hard to say what's good since It seems more like it's opinion with doctor who on whether a story is good sans things like plotholes but even then If a story is good enough that can be forgiven or ignored.the reason I picked Moffat is because His episodes every season are always the most distinct. The Empty child two parter,Girl in the fireplace,Blink,Silence in the library two parter and not to mention being the head writer of my favorite series.
