Hey You know what show was awesome....Digimon



Okay say your arguments for the first two seasons or the newer ones but my god Do I love the 3rd season.Amazing VA,great writing and A much darker tone turned this kids show into something more then just a better version of Pokemon....well the show anyway the games are cook but come on.Plus it's one of the few shows That don't have any main characters that piss me off for being either annoying or just really unlikable.
( IE Alot of final fantasies have these)

F**king twins never so glad to see someone turned to stone

Perhaps I should start from the beginning.Digimon was a series based around kids with these creatures for partners known as digimon who can transform into larger forms or digivolve to become stronger.It sounds fairly simple and mindless but the writing and animation for the show is superb and can really be counted for the first four seasons I never seen season 5 or xross wars so I can't speak for them.the first two seasons were connected by a group of kids known as digidestined ( I know it sound cheesy but expect Alot of digistuff) who were destined to save the digital world (read sort of the interenet maybe I think) from evil digimon who want to conquer it or destroy it.
the first two had alot of depth to them And I applaud them both.Same with the unconnected to the first three seasons fourth which I feel is a bit underratted by fans due to the fact there were no partners but the kids turned into digimon but that's not why I started this.The third season was just amazing and one of the most interesting and surprisingly deepest and darkest shows I've seen.I know I often say higurashi no naku koro ni is my favorite anime but after rewatching it recently I have to say It's just too good.

Why well the writing is superb and the comedic parts as par for the series as a whole is incredible.I recall the main characters takato's partner guilmon clawed a school door and the teacher saw the mark goes back into the class and describes what to do if you see something that isn't there.But also the darkness is beautiful is the series.namely two characters though Rika nonaka and jeri katou. these two have brilliant stories to them..While I won't spoil too much and won't dwell too long on this since I have other things to work on. (I swear to god I'll get working on the doctor who review it's just I'm really strapped at the moment) I will say this jeri turned from this

Trust me the build up makes this really freaky and that's not even the tip of the iceberg.Fully reccomend giving digimon tamers or digimon season 3 a shot.trust me It's awesome.

The top 10 villains #8 Oyashiro-sama

First and formost as you may have noticed I've made a mass amount of face value changes to the blog so If you like this design or if something looks off to you just gimme a comment and I'll see what I can do.Now that that's out of the way.....

The main reason it took me this long to get this one up was because I didn't know how to get the read more thing to pop up because this one is mass spoilers since the main villain of higurashi no naku koro ni is kind of a big twist and a huge plot point but now that I know how(Man was it simple...sometimes I worry about myself) Uh....clik to find out about this one.But I warn you.....

So something I noticed......

Am I the only person that sees this or am I just crazy?

And for the doctor who fans already in the house...

So far most of what I've posted involving doctor who has been to newer fans or to gather fans for the show.But I gotta say This one is for the already heavy fans.The rundown as it were.

• Favorite doctor: Ah I gotta say matt smith.And yeah I like david tennant's run too.My thoughts on the rivalry...Stop it.Seriously people they're both fine doctors.Seriously you'll see I'm mostly split but just the daffy duck like personality of matt smith while still being a really likable character. Plus I love just how stupid he gets again like daffy duck almost.
• Favorite episode: Ah It's close between the time of angels two parter and the doomsday two parter but I have to say doomsday.Just the concept A war between the daleks and the cybermen and my god is it awesome.that alone basically gets it for me but granted the I just made him say comfy chairs line from matt smith....well I couldn't breathe for about a minute from laughter
• Favorite companion: Oh god don't make me pick.rose's story is amazing,martha is just amazingly acted,donna is just so freaking funny and don't get me started on amy.I guess donna but a hair though cause she was just incredible
• Favorite season: Probably season 5.The first of the 11th doctor.Some people say the transition from 10 to 11 made this season a bit rough but really It was a huge restart point and all things considered I do like the season because of it's pace and story was just great too
• Favorite recurring villain: I can't say right now I will say this though the cybermen,the daleks and the master are all amazing and one of them will be at the top of my villains list.

Also As a side note I wanna say my feelings on the new dalek paradigm.I like these guys.Yeah I know they look like the dalek power rangers but I genuinely find them alot more threatening then just the normal models.I guess cause alot of hype is placed on them having certain names.last time daleks were given names was the cult of skaro and my god are they awesome.seriously dalek sec turning into a human crossbreed or dalek caan forseeing the doctor's demise they were awesome and I expect similar out of the paradigm

The top 10 villains #9 Kuja

Dr.weil was the perfect example of one of the three main things I look for in villains.Being smarter than the protagonist counterpart.Today I bring you the perfect example of another of the three elements I look for;threat.Henceforth I give you my favorite and in my opinion the most threatening on definatly most underrated final fantasy villain Kuja.

For those who don't know why kuja is probably the least liked villian in final fantasy history sans maybe necron since let's face it necron did literally appear in the last ten minutes of FF9.But in all honesty I do understand the criticism.I mean he is the single girliest villain of all time.

Get your laughs out now cause this is the only villain who ever made my acid reflux start up

I always enjoyed kuja's behavior in FF9.Yes very artistic,and classy which results in alot of very playlike dramatic scenes namely like the second scene he's in where the music and visuals cut to black with the words "Fly home to your mother, my little canary. I, too, will welcome you home with open arms." Both artistic and elegant but still very threatening especially in context. Another example would namely be the first scene he shows up.After alexandrian general beatrix defeats and knocks out the party.Kuja stands above them looking at them.and simply walks off.His outfit is still a touch feminine( well okay a large touch) but just the way the scene is done the music,the visuals,and kuja's actions make the scene incredibly threatening all things concerned.

But the big thing that makes me love this villain has to be expalined.Kuja was created by garland(No not chaos garland but why did they name him that?) As the angel fo death to try and take over the planet gaia( the main world of FF9) and take the souls to revive the planet terra (other world of FF9....it's a final fantasy go figure) soon after zidane was created and garland knew he was far more powerful but kuja behind garland's back left zidane on the planet gaia in hopes he would die.

Kuja became the angel once more and would turn the world of gaia on itself when he played the devil on queen brahne's shoulder and convinced her to attack the other kingdoms while he planned his own search for power to destroy garland and take over terra and gaia.Evantually he would kill the queen (and this time not the jukebox) I think literally just cause she was ugly (fair enough trust me on this) which again proves both his elegance and his fury as well his power after literally taking on and taking control over the eidolon bahamut.

From here he would kidnap,blackmail,and scheme his way back to terra where he had no problem taking out garland after absorbing all of the souls garland had gathered from gaia including brahne,which he joyously told her daughter garnet.But at that point garland with his last breath told kuja that he would soon die due to his lifespan which garland designed to be short and to say the least kuja took that unpleasantly

He had no problem literally destroying the planet terra single handedly.And planned to destroy all of existance by unleashing the crystal at the universe's center which would unleash a powerful creature( well they said destroy the universe but my theory on this is necron is the demon who would destroy the universe.My theory anyway) and despite the best efforts of the protagonists he actually succeeded in unleashing necron.While he did evantually save the heroes from necron's death rattle of a black hole I think he more the deserves a spot here 

The Top 10 Villains #10 Dr weil.

First of all I was half asleep making that last post so I'll reiterate a few things.My opinion of what makes a good villain is three simple things. First of all how threatening they are.If a villain can make my acid reflux act up from a weird look alone It's impressive.Second is simple but obvious.If they've beaten the protagonist.If they killed a hero or just came out on top it just serves to make them look impressive.third and a perfect segue into number ten is if they outsmart the protagonist.

Well he certainly looks......nuts

Number ten is Dr. weil from the megaman zero series....no not weily...I think.They aren't very clear but I don't think it is him.Plus that guy would not make it on here....seriously just make spiked wall man it makes sense!!!

But I digress.Dr.weil created something called a dark elf.A being of immense power that gave whatever had it in their posession the power to nearly destroy the world.However considered one of the greatest reploid(read robot) heroes X sealed the dark elf with his body and dr. weil was sent into space.Hundreds of years later X's partner Zero was awakened from hibernation(read hibernate mode on a laptop) to stop a deranged clone of X named copy X.(To be fair while uncreative it grows on you and starts sounding cool after a while)

Who had taken control of the largest human settlement on earth:Neo arcadia

After destroying the deranged copy of X and hunting down a resistance member named elpizo who freed the dark elf from it's seal.Dr.weil returned and with control over an immensly powerful reploid named omega recreated Copy X and while Copy X took back neo arcadia weil appeared only as an advisor to X.When Zero once again attacked and destroyed copy X he fell into weil's trap.

Because Copy X was always pro human but damn near wanting to destroy all reploids believing they were mavericks( Read terrorists more or less) but humans always loved him (kinda made the human race look like complete assholes come to think of it.)Weil broadcast zero killing copy X and declaring that X said weil would become the new leader of neo arcadia He made zero and the entire neo arcadia resistance look like complete idiots and to neo arcadia like the worst criminals of all time.

Fooled you!! I can't believe you fell for it man!

So Let's recap.He fairly quickly After being revived from cryogenic sleep managed to create a plan that managed to take control of the niggest city on earth and turn the whole human race against the protaganist and everyone he holds dear......not a bad days work all things considered.

Alright Imma keep this a bit quicker since I'm half way to asleep and If I don't now I may never due to watching a few too many episodes of doctor who and too many hours at demon souls.seriously awesome game but christ on a bike Is it hard.anyways Along with the doctor who reviewy thing I have plans for the top 10 villains countdown.One at a time and for the record I base it on more threatening villains since that's how I judge them anyway.anyways I will have the first part soon just alot of crap to do
